Henry's weekend in the country :)

Henry had his first sleepover this past weekend at Gramma and Grampa Deutscher's house while Mom and Dad went out and celebrated their wedding anniversary!  It was a little bittersweet--nice to be able to just spend time together alone...but we missed Henry too :)  However, he was having so much fun I wonder if he missed us!  Here are a few photos from when we went to pick him up on Sunday and he met Grampa's new baby!

Henry has been eating cereal for about a week now, and he's become a big fan of food--big surprise-ha. He took to it pretty quickly, and gets excited when you put his bib on and get the spoon out. While we were feeding him tonight, we thought it would be fun to get a little video to share. Bon Appetite Henry!

Henry likes to hang out and play in his exersaucer now--(thanks uncle Trav and auntie Amber!)  He looks so big in there!  He enjoys it so much he even let me do some baking the other day!

haha, I couldn't resist.  Here's Henry wearing jeans and a t-shirt for the first time....the waistband is just a little loose yet, and when he pushes his bottom up while he's trying to crawl, we get a good look at his cute little tushie  :)

Five Months

ahhh!  Henry's favorite place to play is on top of the refrigerator with daddy!  Once he's up there he just smiles and giggles like crazy.....should I be worried?  Is this a preview of daredevil antics to come?

Happy mother's day!  I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful mom and now I get to be one too!  Henry is teaching me just how lucky I am, and how much our moms did and still do for us.  And I realize that mothering will never stop just because your kids grow up and have kids of their own.....yep, I called my mom at about one in the morning a couple nights ago because I was worried about Henry.  What would we do without her?  I would not have made it through the semester that's for sure!  I also want to thank all of Henry's grandmas!  I appreciate all the help :)  We send our love to all the mamas and grandmamas :)

So we have something to celebrate!  Mama is done with school!!!  Now I can relax and enjoy hanging out with my boys.  AND Henry is feeling much better now...I think.  At least he is no longer lookin' so sad these days.
