crunch time

hello hello! sorry to say this but....the posts may be fairly few and far between for the next two months!  It is crunch time!  my priorities are as follows: my boys, graduating from college (i.e. finish my thesis!), teaching dance, and photography.........blogging, not matter how much i love it, did not make the list :)  I only have a two months left to finish my thesis, so when i am not spending time with my loves or at the dance studio i am busy as a bee working on it....so really no time for photography now either...  But I thought I would send out this quick jot to let everyone know that we are doing splendid! henry started at a new daycare and became fast friends with another little boy there.  he doesn't even cry when i drop him off...a good thing i guess :)  austin and i are busy planning and preparing for our big spring, and trying to finish up all the things that come before it!  Last weekend we went and visited henry's great grandparents in scotland.  he had a lot of fun and ended up redecorating both of their houses a little!--sorry charlie and myrna and paul and bernie!  haha, henry just tends to do that no matter where we go :)  here are a few photos from that weekend.

We made some valentines!!! Here is Henry getting to work and coloring with his new crayons!  In fact, you may have seen some of his handiwork in the shape of a heart :)  However, the love of coloring doesn't last all that long...so only a few valentines were lucky enough to display his miniature masterpieces.  I also, somehow miraculously, and with the help of my mom, was able to hold his hand on a piece of paper long enough to trace it!  Then we used that tracing as a pattern to make little hands for more valentines, and when we ran out of those we just went on decorating till our heart's content-haha :)  It was really fun for me to do something that wasn't thesis related for one afternoon.  For me, its stress relieving...even though the time it takes could have been spent writing, and I wouldn't be as stressed about writing if I had gotten more of it done...hmmm....a bit of a dilemma :) ah well, any time spent with my barbaloot is time well-spent :)
great-gramma found a little pull-toy for henry that he thoroughly enjoyed!
and rides with great-grampa were fun too!
okay!  we are going to miss you! don't worry, i will check in every now and then, but as i said...time to write write write!
