we are back! and we had a wonderful trip :) henry was great on the flights, he either watched elmo on his dvd player or slept. of course there were a few fidgety fussy moments, but those were expected and didn't last all that long, also, the air pressure didn't seem to bother him at all, and i was so busy distracting him and keeping him comfortable that i was distracted from my usual flying fears! we had fun-filled, busy days the whole time we were there.
for all of you who heard about the crazy tornado weather that hit north carolina while we were there, don't worry, it didn't affect us, just stormed pretty good for a little bit, but we did see quite a bit of destruction on our drive to the airport on monday. we were fortunate!
SO i have a ton of photos and stories to share. i thought i would start with the reunion of kaydyn and henry :) they had fun playing together, and i looove the way kaydyn says henry: "henwy" :) as soon as he got out of the car they exchanged several unprompted hugs--i am not kidding! of course there was the occasional struggle for a toy that neither wanted to share, but that's typical--haha. ALSO, i think you should note the lovely mass of golden curls kaydyn's rockin'. Yep, i'm thinking that a similar head of hair may be in henry's (hopefully not-too-distant) future.
